GUN REGISTRATION. The liberals and the uniformed led by President Clinton, are screaming for background checks at gun shows. I have nothing against background checks, but I do have about registration.
The
government has registered every legally sold gun in the United States
since 1968.
The
last report I read stated, "of
all the millions of guns sold since that time not
one major crime has been solved by gun registration".
Checking a person's record before allowing them to buy a gun is great providing the record is immediately destroyed after the person is approved.
The only reason I can think of for the government to keep these records is for eventual confiscation.
Our forefathers proclaimed the right to keep and bear arms, not to register them.
Only one presidential candidate I know of, Rep.Keys expressed his views on this issue. In New Hampshire his comments included, "the right to gun ownership has nothing to do with squirrel hunting, --it has to do with protecting one's self from their own government".
As far as the hype about young children accidentally shooting themselves, more children every year are accidentally backed over by cars in driveways.
Citizens should demand that all record of gun sales kept by the government since 1968 should be completely expunged.
There is talk about smart guns that recognize the owner by fingerprints etc., great! There are plenty of malfunctions that can happen with anything mechanical without that.
Ask any policeman if he would like to trust his life to a weapon that has to identify his fingerprint before it will fire.
AFGHANISTAN THE SOVIET UNION
AND GUN CONTROL.
The backward nation of Afghanistan defeated the greatest military force on earth with small arms.
The Soviet soldiers could not even go into town for a beer or entertainment of any kind for fear of being shot from behind a rock, bush or building. After years of this they became so demoralized from being restricted to their bases, they finally refused to take orders and the end result was the Soviets were forced to withdraw from Afghanistan.
The powers that want to register and eventually confiscate your guns are fully aware of this. Yet, it is ironic, those same powers behind most gun control, allow their own citizens in Israel to carry fully automatic machine guns on the streets at will.
(But only Israelis, no one else may have a gun). Think about it!
FROM THE REDICULIOUS TO THE SUBLIME. New York City is offering welfare recipients "training" to become "psychic". They will work from their homes as telephone "clairvoyants". To qualify one must have "a caring and compassionate personality" be on public assistance, are able "to read, write and speak English".
No kidding, it's TRUE!
FOREIGN AID. How's this for an idea?
All foreign aid has to be voted on every four years in the presidential election, naming each country and amount they are to receive with a simple Yes___ or NO____ vote. PERIOD. Billions could be kept here in the United States and/or returned to the taxpayer to enhance the economy.
Where in the constitution does it give the right to the government to give U.S. taxpayers money to any foreign country?GUN FINGERPRINTING -The worst idea yet…read on. The idea of the manufacturer firing the gun to keep a sample of the ballistic fingerprint of each gun sounds o.k. Right? The problem is most people do not give enough thought to things like this because they think this will keep down crime. Many people are not really capable of abstract thinking (as a woman's brain is not as equipped to do so as a man's but is better at some things such as reading, writing and verbal expression).
People who acquire guns legally are not the criminals. Now lets do a little abstract thinking. What if you buy a gun and it is stolen and you did not know it was gone. Someone gets murdered with it and you do not have an alibi for where you were at the time? You guessed it! You're going to be charged with murder! They found the bullet that matches the gun registered to you. Think about it, it's not funny.
The "Bill of Rights" states in part. (The Government). evinces a Design to reduce them (the people) under absolute Despotism, it is their (the peoples) Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government...Lets assume the people are forced into insurrection. The Government would know every person that fired a gun they found a bullet from and be able to identify and pick up the few that would fight for their rights.
Now, lets take it a step further. If the ATF would purposely cut a gun barrel 1/32" shorter then the law allows, sell it to a citizen to frame him as they did in the "Ruby Ridge" case. Then, shoot an innocent wife and child of the man in a raid on his house. What else might the government contrive to nail a patriot? "Scenario".. Follow a person to make sure he does not have an alibi for a certain time. Then commit a crime. Plant the bullet the manufacturer has kept on file from that gun. Then, offer it as proof it came form the innocent person's gun!
You don't think it could happen? Remember Ruby Ridge, Kennedy's assassination, Waco, Oklahoma bombing (experts have proved it was blown up from the inside), just to name a few lies and cover-ups.
Frankly, in my estimation, this is the most devious plot thought up by the government to date. This law was just passed in Maryland.
